Jesus At The Beach
July 30, 31 and August 1, 2007
Dear Friends,
Praise the Lord and greetings in Jesus name! It is a blessing to be in His presence daily and witness his love and life changing power. Everyday we are on the boardwalk for ministry from The Son'Spot building on Worcester Street to the Sand Sculpture on Second Street, with preaching, testimonies, and other ministry. We meet daily at The Son'Spot at 6am, 10am, and 8pm for worship, preaching, prayer, and ministry. Our purpose is to gather with no plan, except to invite God to manifest Himself as He desires. The food ministry includes free dinner on Thursdays year around, and also breakfast on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in the summer. Many of the people coming are from other nations. We have Bibles and tracts organized on the counter written in many different languages.
The same Spirit-led ministry that the Lord does everyday at The Son'Spot is what He does during the Jesus at the Beach Music & Ministry Festival. The only difference is instead of one or two ministry teams, during the festival there are many ministry teams. To accommodate more people we gather inside the convention center during the day. And for outreach ministry we gather on the beach at night. Last year God used many to minister through music, song, preaching, prayer, passing out tracts, witnessing, sand sculpture, dramas, dance, and fellowship. God is so good. It was awesome to watch the Lord minister to so many of the thousands on the boardwalk. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to lift up the name of Jesus in Ocean City. And thank you, Lord, for the privilege of being your vessel. .
Good News Reports From Prior Jesus At The Beach Festivals:
"Many wonderful happenings have taken place at this year's Jesus At The Beach Festival. It was a time that God appointed and He was faithful to manifest His presence in a real way. This year we saw many people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Also, there were many who had walked away from the Lord that made the decision to serve Him once again. We have seen God's anointing on dances, dramas, and the ministry of music this year and expect something even greater for next year. Praise God for His faithfulness."
"I believe that this year at Jesus At The Beach much was said and done in the Spirit. I believe we're leaving with a word from God. I know God used everything that was said and done this past week for His glory. The Bible says that one plants and one waters, but God brings the increase. I know even though you can't always see the fruits of your labor in people's lives, it is still there. I have really enjoyed this week and thank the Lord for all He has done. I thank the Lord for the word about fulfillment. I was able to pray for many people and I believe their lives will be changed and they will remember what was said."

It was a glorious time in the presence of the Lord and all I can think about is that I want more of Him."

"I had a blessed time at Jesus At The Beach. What struck me most was the peace. This was the most peaceful Jesus At The Beach I've been to. The friends we brought had a wonderful time and are already lobbying for next year!! Three of the people with us were baptized. The twelve year old boy with us got to play the drums with the music ministers. It was his first time playing with a group or on a platform. The Lord wants to start using our children and the talents He gave them, now. So they can go beyond where we are now. I feel so blessed that I can pray for and sow into the kids at Son'Spot. All because you let them come and be prompted by the Holy Spirit. I pray this model will soon be used in all the body. What a novel thought, Spirit led instead of man led. Thank you for letting us be a part of this."
